Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour (or use store-bought dough)
  • 2ยผ tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk (~110ยฐF)
  • ยผ cup sugar
  • โ…“ cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1 tsp salt
  • For the filling:
  • ยฝ cup butter, softened
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (Mozzarella + sharp cheddar)
  • ยผ cup grated Parmesan
  • ยฝ tsp salt
  • ยผ tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, salt, butter, eggs, and warm milk. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Roll the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the dough, then sprinkle with shredded cheese, Parmesan, parsley, and seasonings.
  5. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into individual rolls.
  6. Place rolls in the prepared baking dish and bake for 10โ€“12 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
