Ingredients
- For the Dough:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour – Or use store-bought dough
- 2ยผ teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk (around 110ยฐF)
- ยผ cup sugar
- โ cup butter – softened
- 2 eggs – room temperature
- 1 teaspoon salt
- For the Garlic Cheese Filling:
- ยฝ cup butter – softened
- 6 garlic cloves – minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley – chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups shredded cheese (Mozzarella + sharp cheddar)
- ยผ cup grated Parmesan
- ยฝ teaspoon salt
- ยผ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
- Add warm milk, eggs, and softened butter. Mix to form a soft dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Cover and let dough rise for about 10 minutes or until slightly puffed.
- Meanwhile, mix butter, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, cheeses, salt, and pepper for the filling.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread garlic cheese filling evenly over the dough.
- Roll up tightly and cut into 12 equal pieces.
- Place rolls cut-side up on a greased baking pan.
- Bake at 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) for 15โ20 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
