Ingredients

  • For the Dough:
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour – Or use store-bought dough
  • 2ยผ teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk (around 110ยฐF)
  • ยผ cup sugar
  • โ…“ cup butter – softened
  • 2 eggs – room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • For the Garlic Cheese Filling:
  • ยฝ cup butter – softened
  • 6 garlic cloves – minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley – chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (Mozzarella + sharp cheddar)
  • ยผ cup grated Parmesan
  • ยฝ teaspoon salt
  • ยผ teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add warm milk, eggs, and softened butter. Mix to form a soft dough.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Cover and let dough rise for about 10 minutes or until slightly puffed.
  5. Meanwhile, mix butter, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, cheeses, salt, and pepper for the filling.
  6. Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread garlic cheese filling evenly over the dough.
  7. Roll up tightly and cut into 12 equal pieces.
  8. Place rolls cut-side up on a greased baking pan.
  9. Bake at 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) for 15โ€“20 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
