Ingredients
- 12-14 cups French bread, cubed
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups 2% milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1-2 tbsp powdered sugar
- Maple syrup, as desired
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread cubed French bread evenly in the prepared dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and brown sugar until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread, making sure all pieces are soaked.
- Gently fold in the strawberries and blueberries.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the casserole is set and lightly golden on top.
- Let cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar, and serve with maple syrup.
