Description

This Biscuits and Gravy Casserole is an easy Cracker Barrel–style breakfast bake made with fluffy biscuits, savory breakfast sausage, creamy gravy, eggs, and melted cheese. It’s comforting, hearty, and perfect for weekends, holidays, or feeding a hungry crowd.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 packet gravy mix
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits, cut into quarters
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Colby Jack)
  • ½ cup milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Prepare the gravy according to packet instructions and stir it into the cooked sausage.
  4. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread biscuit pieces evenly in the baking dish.
  6. Pour sausage gravy mixture over the biscuits.
  7. Pour the egg mixture evenly on top, then sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  8. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until the center is set and the top is golden.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
