Ingredients
- 1 package (16 oz) breakfast sausage
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk, divided
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
- 1 pre-baked pizza crust (12-inch)
- Cooking spray
- 6 large eggs
- ¼ cup milk (for eggs)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or more as desired)
- Crispy fried onions for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease the pizza crust with cooking spray.
- In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove excess grease if needed.
- Sprinkle flour over sausage and stir to coat. Gradually add 2 cups milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Season with black pepper.
- Pour sausage gravy over pre-baked pizza crust.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs with ¼ cup milk and scramble in a skillet until just set.
- Top pizza with scrambled eggs and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake in preheated oven for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle crispy fried onions on top. Serve warm.
