Description

This Biscuits and Sausage Gravy Breakfast Pizza is a hearty and indulgent breakfast treat, combining the classic flavors of sausage gravy with a cheesy breakfast pizza twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 oz) breakfast sausage
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • Ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
  • 1 pre-baked pizza crust (12-inch)
  • Cooking spray
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk (for the eggs)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or more, if desired)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or pizza pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Remove excess grease if necessary.
  3. Sprinkle the flour over the sausage and stir to combine. Gradually add 2 cups of milk, stirring constantly until gravy thickens. Season with black pepper to taste.
  4. Prepare the eggs: whisk together 6 eggs and 1/4 cup milk. Scramble in a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat until just set.
  5. Place the pre-baked pizza crust on the baking sheet. Spread the sausage gravy evenly over the crust, then layer scrambled eggs on top. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from oven, slice, and serve warm.
