Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped
- 1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls (8-count)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Unroll crescent dough and press into the prepared dish, sealing seams.
- In a medium bowl, combine cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, milk, half of the cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the crescent dough in the pan.
- Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 25โ30 minutes, until crescent dough is golden and cheese is melted.
- Let cool 5 minutes, garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
- Rotisserie chicken works well to save prep time.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated for 2โ3 days and reheated in the oven.
