Ingredients
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook penne pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add minced garlic, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and beef broth. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
- Mix in cooked penne and toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Cover and cook for 3โ5 minutes until melted.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
