Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 8 oz egg noodles (or preferred pasta)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ½ cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in heavy cream, parsley, and thyme. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Add cooked noodles and chicken back to the skillet. Toss gently to coat.
- Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve warm.
Notes
- Add grated Parmesan for extra richness.
- Swap chicken for turkey or shrimp if desired.
