Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme (or your favorite herb)
  • 8 oz egg noodles (or preferred pasta)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • ยฝ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (optional garnish)


Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken breasts until golden and cooked through, about 6โ€“7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter with olive oil and sautรฉ minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add cooked noodles to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and toss to coat in the butter garlic sauce.
  6. Serve the chicken breasts over the buttery noodles, garnish with fresh parsley or basil if desired.
