Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme (or your favorite herb)
- 8 oz egg noodles (or preferred pasta)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- ยฝ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme.
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken breasts until golden and cooked through, about 6โ7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter with olive oil and sautรฉ minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add cooked noodles to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and toss to coat in the butter garlic sauce.
- Serve the chicken breasts over the buttery noodles, garnish with fresh parsley or basil if desired.
