Description
These Christmas Cheesecake Bars are a festive treat that will wow your holiday guests! Sweet sugar cookie crust topped with creamy cheesecake and a cherry topping.
Ingredients
- 1 (8.5 oz) Sugar Cookie Mix
- 4 tbsp Butter, Cold
- 1 (8 oz) Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1 tbsp Flour
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 Egg
- 3/4 can Cherry Pie Filling
- 1/3 cup Almonds, Sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- Prepare sugar cookie crust according to package instructions, pressing into the bottom of the pan.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, flour, vanilla, and egg until smooth. Spread evenly over the crust.
- Bake for 20โ25 minutes until cheesecake layer is set.
- Remove from oven and top with cherry pie filling and sliced almonds.
- Let cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.
Notes
- Use fresh or canned cherries if preferred.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle a little cinnamon in the crust.
- These bars can be made a day ahead for convenience.
