Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, cream together sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix in milk and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon for topping in a small bowl.
- While bread is still warm, sprinkle the cinnamon sugar topping evenly over the loaf.
