Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika (smoked or sweet)
- 1 tbsp olive oil, for searing
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
- 1 tsp fresh dill, chopped (optional)
- Juice of 1 lemon (~2 tbsp)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth (or water for lighter option)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic. Sauté 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in Dijon mustard, red pepper flakes, parsley, dill, lemon juice, and chicken broth. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
- Reduce heat and stir in heavy cream. Simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
- Return chicken to skillet and coat with the sauce. Heat through 2–3 minutes.
- Garnish with extra parsley and serve warm.

- Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted vegetables.
- Adjust red pepper flakes to control spiciness.
