Description

Cracked Garlic Steak Tortellini in Creamhouse Sauce Bliss is a rich and comforting dinner made with tender seared steak, cheese-filled tortellini, and a luxurious garlic parmesan cream sauce. This indulgent skillet meal is perfect for cozy nights and impressive enough for guests.

Ingredients

  • For the Tortellini
  • 20 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
  • For the Steak
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • For the Seasoning
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Smoked paprika, to taste
  • For the Creamy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/4 cups parmesan cheese, shredded or freshly grated
  • For Garnishing (Optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak on both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 3–4 minutes per side until cooked to desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and whole milk, stirring gently. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Add parmesan cheese and stir until fully melted and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  7. Add cooked tortellini to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  8. Slice the rested steak and return it to the skillet. Gently mix and cook for 1–2 minutes.
  9. Garnish with parsley, red pepper flakes, and cracked black pepper if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, finish with a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
  • Ribeye provides more richness, while sirloin keeps the dish lighter.
  • Best served fresh but leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
