Creamy Garlic Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli is a rich and comforting pasta dish. Tender chicken, crisp broccoli, and fettuccine are coated in a luscious garlic cream sauce, perfect for a cozy dinner.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken strips, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Add a pinch of nutmeg if desired.
- Add cooked fettuccine, broccoli, and chicken to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly and heat through for 2–3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top when serving.
- Chicken can be substituted with shrimp or tofu for variation.
