Description

Creamy Garlic Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli is a rich and comforting pasta dish. Tender chicken, crisp broccoli, and fettuccine are coated in a luscious garlic cream sauce, perfect for a cozy dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken strips, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Add a pinch of nutmeg if desired.
  5. Add cooked fettuccine, broccoli, and chicken to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly and heat through for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top when serving.
  • Chicken can be substituted with shrimp or tofu for variation.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
