Ingredients
- 1 package frozen pierogi (cheese or potato filling)
- 8 oz turkey sausage, sliced (spicy optional)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ยฝ cup sour cream
- 1 tsp dried dill
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ยผ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for garnish)
- Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add turkey sausage and cook until browned.
- Add diced onion and sautรฉ until softened. Stir in garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add frozen pierogi to the skillet and cook according to package instructions, stirring occasionally.
- Pour in heavy cream and sour cream. Stir in dried dill, salt, and pepper. Simmer 3โ5 minutes until sauce thickens.
