Description

Crock Pot Angel Chicken is a creamy, comforting dish perfect for weeknight dinners. Tender chicken breasts slow-cooked with cream cheese, butter, garlic, and Italian dressing mix create a rich, flavorful sauce that’s served over delicate angel hair pasta.

Ingredients

  • 12 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 2 large)
  • 4 oz (½ block) cream cheese, softened
  • 3 Tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup (low or no sodium optional)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¾ cup chicken broth (low or no sodium optional)
  • 1 (0.7 oz) packet Good Seasons Dry Italian Salad Dressing Mix
  • 16 oz angel hair pasta
  • Chopped fresh parsley, cracked pepper, and/or grated Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and season chicken with salt and pepper.
  2. Brown chicken on both sides for 2–3 minutes each, then transfer to the crock pot.
  3. Add cream cheese, butter, cream of chicken soup, garlic, chicken broth, and Italian dressing mix. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Cook on low for 4–6 hours or on high for 2–3 hours until chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  5. Cook angel hair pasta according to package instructions.
  6. Serve chicken over pasta, spooning creamy sauce on top. Garnish with parsley, cracked pepper, and/or Parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • Use low-sodium broth and soup if you prefer a milder taste.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice or a pinch of red pepper flakes before serving.
