Description
This Crockpot Chicken Parmesan is an easy, hands-off dinner! Juicy chicken breasts are cooked in marinara sauce and topped with melted mozzarella and Parmesan cheese for a comforting Italian-inspired meal.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot and pour marinara sauce over them.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until chicken is fully cooked.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top during the last 15 minutes of cooking to melt.
- Serve warm with pasta, rice, or a side salad.
Notes
- For extra flavor, season chicken with salt and pepper before adding to the crockpot.
- Fresh basil can be added as a garnish before serving.
- Leftovers store well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
