This Crockpot Pierogi Casserole with Kielbasa is a hearty and comforting dish that combines cheesy pierogies, savory kielbasa, and creamy cheeses, all simmered in chicken broth for a flavorful one-pot meal. Perfect for easy weeknight dinners or family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 8-ounce block cream cheese
- 3 packages Mrs. T’s cheddar pierogies
Instructions
- Slice kielbasa into bite-sized pieces.
- Place pierogies in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add sliced kielbasa on top of the pierogies.
- Pour chicken broth over the pierogies and kielbasa. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cut cream cheese into small cubes and scatter over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 3โ4 hours or until pierogies are tender.
- About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and cover until melted.
- Stir gently before serving and enjoy.
Notes
- Feel free to add sautรฉed onions or bell peppers for extra flavor.
- Use any pierogi flavor you prefer.
