Ingredients
- 5 large croissants (preferably day-old), cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups whole milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Optional for topping: powdered sugar, fresh berries, or whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Place croissant pieces in the prepared dish and sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the top.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the custard mixture over the croissants and chocolate chips, pressing gently to soak the croissants.
