Loaded Dirty Fries smothered in melted cheese, fresh veggies, and a tangy homemade sauce. Crispy fries topped with a flavorful mix that will satisfy every craving.
Ingredients
For the Fries:
- 4 large russet potatoes (or frozen fries for convenience)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ยฝ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ยฝ teaspoon salt
- ยฝ teaspoon black pepper
For the Toppings:
- 1 ยฝ cups shredded cheddar cheese (or a cheese blend)
- ยฝ cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 small red onion, finely diced
- 1 small green bell pepper, diced
- 1 small red bell pepper, diced
- 1 jalapeรฑo, thinly sliced (optional)
- ยฝ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- ยฝ teaspoon dried oregano
- ยผ cup fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
For the Sauce:
- ยฝ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- ยฝ teaspoon garlic powder
- ยฝ teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425ยฐF (220ยฐC). Cut potatoes into fries if using fresh potatoes.
- Toss potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Spread fries evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 30โ35 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
- While fries bake, mix all sauce ingredients in a small bowl; refrigerate until ready.
- Remove fries from oven, sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella evenly over fries.
- Return to oven for 3โ5 minutes until cheese melts.
- Top fries with diced onions, bell peppers, jalapeรฑo, chili flakes, and oregano.
- Drizzle with sauce and garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro before serving.
