This Easy Doritos Taco Salad is a crunchy, cheesy, and satisfying salad packed with seasoned ground beef, fresh veggies, and tangy Catalina dressing. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner or a fun party dish.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb ground beef (80/20 lean)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 16 fl oz Catalina dressing
- 1 bag nacho cheese tortilla chips, crushed just before serving
Instructions
- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and cook according to packet instructions.
- In a large salad bowl, combine chopped lettuce, diced onion, tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Add cooked ground beef to the salad.
- Top with crushed tortilla chips and drizzle with Catalina dressing before serving.
Notes
- Crush tortilla chips just before serving to keep them crunchy.
- Can substitute cheddar with Mexican blend cheese.
