This Easy Parmesan Chicken Pasta is a creamy, comforting meal that combines tender chicken, rich Parmesan cheese, and pasta in a silky sauce. It’s the perfect quick dinner for busy weeknights—simple to make and bursting with flavor!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 12 oz pasta (any type you like)
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 package cream cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the chicken over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the chicken broth, cream cheese, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss with the sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta, mixing until well coated. Simmer for 2–3 minutes to thicken slightly.
- Serve warm, topped with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
- You can use any pasta you prefer—penne, fettuccine, or rotini all work great.
- Add steamed broccoli or spinach for extra color and nutrition.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated with a splash of cream or milk.
