This Easy Pepper Jack Crack Chicken is creamy, cheesy, and loaded with flavor. Made with tender chicken breasts, ranch seasoning, crumbled beef, and spicy pepper jack cheese, it’s the perfect comfort foodโgreat in the slow cooker or oven!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 oz)
- 1/2 cup cooked beef, crumbled (about 6 slices)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth (optional, for slow cooker)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in a slow cooker or baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, pepper jack cheese, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Spread the cheese mixture over the chicken. Add chicken broth if using a slow cooker.
- Cook on LOW for 6โ7 hours (or HIGH for 3โ4 hours) in the slow cooker. For oven: Bake at 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) for 25โ30 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
- Shred the chicken and mix everything together. Top with crumbled beef and chopped green onions before serving.
