These Flaky Pepperoni Pizza Rolls are a quick and delicious snack or appetizer. Crispy puff pastry filled with gooey mozzarella, pepperoni, and fragrant herbs make every bite irresistible. Serve with pizza sauce for dipping if desired.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry (store-bought, thawed)
  • ½ cup pizza sauce (optional, for dipping)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (or any melty cheese like provolone)
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoni (turkey or vegan alternatives work too)
  • 1 tsp dried Italian herbs (or use fresh chopped basil or oregano)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Evenly layer mozzarella, pepperoni, and Italian herbs on the pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
