Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8 oz) jar salsa (mild, medium, or hot)
- 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and cook for 1–2 minutes to combine flavors.
- Spread softened cream cheese evenly into the bottom of an oven-safe baking dish.
- Layer the cooked taco beef over the cream cheese.
- Spoon salsa evenly on top of the beef layer.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the salsa.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15–20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips for dipping.
