Description

Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Potatoes is a quick and savory dish featuring tender sirloin steak pieces and crispy Yukon gold potatoes tossed in a fragrant garlic butter sauce with fresh herbs.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons ghee or butter, divided
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb Yukon gold potatoes, diced
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon fresh oregano leaves
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon ghee or butter with olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and crispy, about 15 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining ghee or butter. Add steak bites and sear until browned on all sides, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic, thyme, and oregano; cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Return potatoes to skillet and toss everything together to combine and heat through.
  6. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh herbs for best flavor.
  • Sirloin steak can be substituted with ribeye or flank steak.
  • Serve with a side salad or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
