A creamy, savory Garlic Parmesan Spinach Dip perfect for parties and snacking, combining fresh spinach with a rich blend of cheeses and garlic.
Ingredients
- 10 oz fresh spinach (or 9 oz frozen spinach, thawed and drained)
- 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- ยฝ cup sour cream
- โ cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup Pecorino Romano or Parmigiano Reggiano, freshly grated
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh cracked black pepper, to taste
- โ cup shaved Parmesan cheese (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, grated cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Fold in the fresh (or thawed and drained) spinach.
- Transfer mixture to a baking dish and smooth the top.
- Sprinkle shaved Parmesan cheese on top if using.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and lightly golden.
- Serve warm with crackers, bread, or veggies.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream and mayo.
- Can be prepared ahead and refrigerated; bake just before serving.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
