Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs), cut into tenders
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Add chicken tenders and toss to coat evenly. Marinate for at least 20 minutes (or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor).
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the marinated chicken tenders and cook for 4โ5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature 165ยฐF).
- Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Serve with rice, salad, or warm pita bread.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
- These tenders can also be grilled or baked at 400ยฐF for 18โ22 minutes.
