Description

These Greek Chicken Tenders are juicy, flavorful, and packed with Mediterranean goodness. Marinated in olive oil, fresh garlic, lemon juice, and oregano, they cook up tender and golden in under 30 minutesโ€”perfect for busy weeknights or healthy meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs), cut into tenders
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Add chicken tenders and toss to coat evenly. Marinate for at least 20 minutes (or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor).
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add the marinated chicken tenders and cook for 4โ€“5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature 165ยฐF).
  5. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve with rice, salad, or warm pita bread.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
  • These tenders can also be grilled or baked at 400ยฐF for 18โ€“22 minutes.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
