Ingredients

  • 2 boxes refrigerated pie crusts (4 crusts total)
  • ⅓ cup red berry jam (any type like mixed berry, raspberry, cherry, blackberry, blueberry)
  • 1 large egg beaten with a splash of water
  • 1 ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons milk as needed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out pie crusts and cut into rectangles or desired hand-pie shapes.
  3. Place a spoonful of jam in the center of each piece of dough.
  4. Brush edges with beaten egg, fold over to enclose filling, and seal edges with a fork.
  5. Brush tops with egg wash and bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving. Add milk to powdered sugar if making a glaze.
