Hawaiian Chicken Kebabs are a sweet and savory treat perfect for summer grilling. Tender chicken, colorful bell peppers, onions, and pineapple chunks are coated in a tangy-sweet marinade and grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup canned pineapple juice
- Chicken pieces (bite-sized)
- Bell peppers (any color, cut into bite-sized pieces)
- Onions (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- Pineapple chunks
- Skewers
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, soy sauce, and pineapple juice to make the marinade.
- Thread chicken, bell peppers, onions, and pineapple chunks onto skewers.
- Brush the kebabs with the marinade and let sit for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill kebabs for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with remaining marinade, until chicken is cooked through.
- Remove from grill and serve warm.

- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Vegetables can be swapped with zucchini or cherry tomatoes for variation.
