Description

High-Protein Creamy Philly Cheesesteak Mac & Cheese Bliss is a rich, comforting one-pan style pasta dish loaded with seasoned beef, tender peppers, and a creamy cheese sauce. A hearty, family-friendly dinner ready in about 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz dry macaroni (whole wheat or chickpea optional)
  • 1 lb lean ground beef (or ground turkey/chickpeas)
  • 1 cup chopped white onion
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 cups bell peppers (red, green & yellow)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (or olive oil)
  • 8 oz light cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 4 slices light cheese slices
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ยฝ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • ยผ cup fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add onion, bell peppers, and garlic. Sautรฉ until softened.
  4. Stir in butter and cream cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Add mozzarella and cheese slices. Stir until fully melted and creamy.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili flakes.
  7. Fold in cooked macaroni and mix well until coated.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use chickpea pasta for extra protein.
  • Adjust spice level with more or less chili flakes.
  • Best served fresh but reheats well with a splash of milk.
