Description

This Honey Garlic Shrimp with Sausage and Broccoli is a quick, flavorful weeknight dinner. Juicy shrimp, smoky sausage, and crisp-tender broccoli come together in a sweet and garlicky sauce—ready in just 20 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound smoked sausage (such as kielbasa), sliced into rounds
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage slices and cook until lightly browned, about 3–4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add shrimp to the skillet and season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Cook until pink and opaque, about 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside with sausage.
  3. Add garlic to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in honey and soy sauce, then add broccoli. Cook for 3–4 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.
  5. Return shrimp and sausage to the skillet. Toss everything together to coat in the sauce and heat through for 1–2 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • Adjust honey and soy sauce to taste for sweeter or saltier sauce.
  • Serve with rice, quinoa, or noodles for a complete meal.
  • Leftovers store well in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
