Description

Honey Pepper Chicken Pasta is a perfect balance of sweet, savory, and lightly spicy flavors. Tender chicken, creamy sauce, and al dente penne come together in a comforting yet bold dinner that’s ready in under 40 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, bite-sized
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook penne pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain.
  2. Season chicken with salt and black pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  7. Add cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet. Toss to coat, adding pasta water if needed.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Adjust honey and pepper flakes to control sweetness and heat.
  • Great with penne, rotini, or fettuccine.
  • Add spinach or broccoli for extra veggies.
