Honey Pepper Chicken Pasta is a perfect balance of sweet, savory, and lightly spicy flavors. Tender chicken, creamy sauce, and al dente penne come together in a comforting yet bold dinner that’s ready in under 40 minutes.
Ingredients
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, bite-sized
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook penne pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain.
- Season chicken with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour in chicken broth, honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Add cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet. Toss to coat, adding pasta water if needed.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

- Adjust honey and pepper flakes to control sweetness and heat.
- Great with penne, rotini, or fettuccine.
- Add spinach or broccoli for extra veggies.
