Description
Hot Honey Feta Chicken is a spicy, sweet, and creamy dish featuring tender chicken breasts topped with crumbled feta cheese and a hot honey glaze. Quick, flavorful, and perfect for a weeknight dinner or special occasion.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 200 g feta cheese, crumbled
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp hot sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and oregano.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 2–3 minutes per side until lightly golden.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix honey, hot sauce, garlic, and lemon juice. Pour over chicken.
- Sprinkle crumbled feta evenly over the top.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until chicken is cooked through and sauce is bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of hot sauce to control spiciness.
- Serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
