This Irresistible Campbell’s Green Bean Casserole is a classic, creamy, and savory side dish perfect for family dinners or holiday gatherings. Made with green beans, creamy mushroom soup, and topped with crispy fried onions.
Ingredients
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 4 cups cut green beans (from 2 cans, 1 lb fresh, or one 16 oz frozen package)
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- For the topping:
1 1/3 cups crispy french fried onions, divided
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, and soy sauce until smooth.
- Add green beans and black pepper, stirring to combine.
- Transfer mixture to a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
- Bake uncovered for 25 minutes.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle 2/3 of the fried onions on top, and return to oven for 5–10 minutes until onions are golden.
- Serve warm.

- Use fresh green beans for a crisp texture or canned/frozen for convenience.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder or shredded cheddar cheese.
