Description

This Irresistible Campbell’s Green Bean Casserole is a classic, creamy, and savory side dish perfect for family dinners or holiday gatherings. Made with green beans, creamy mushroom soup, and topped with crispy fried onions.


Ingredients

  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 4 cups cut green beans (from 2 cans, 1 lb fresh, or one 16 oz frozen package)
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • For the topping:
    1 1/3 cups crispy french fried onions, divided


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, and soy sauce until smooth.
  3. Add green beans and black pepper, stirring to combine.
  4. Transfer mixture to a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
  5. Bake uncovered for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven, sprinkle 2/3 of the fried onions on top, and return to oven for 5–10 minutes until onions are golden.
  7. Serve warm.
