Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 8 oz medium pasta shells
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta shells according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 3–4 minutes.
  4. Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Reduce heat to low, add heavy cream, and stir until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
  6. Toss cooked pasta shells into the sauce until evenly coated.
  7. Serve warm, optionally garnished with fresh parsley or grated Parmesan cheese.
