Ingredients
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook penne pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and sautรฉ until softened, about 3โ4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir well. Let simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until fully coated in sauce. Serve warm.
