Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt

- 4 sandwich rolls
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened

Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Stir in marinara sauce, tomato paste, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
- Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix softened butter with garlic powder and chopped parsley.
- Spread garlic butter mixture on sandwich rolls and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Toast rolls in the oven until golden and fragrant, about 5-7 minutes.
- Fill toasted rolls with sloppy joe mixture and serve immediately.
