Ingredients
- For the Chicken:
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- ยฝ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- ยผ cup milk
- 1 cup Italian-style bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ยฝ teaspoon salt
- ยผ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- For the Topping:
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Pound chicken breasts to even thickness. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Set up a breading station: flour in one bowl, eggs and milk whisked in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with Italian seasoning in a third.
- Dredge chicken in flour, dip in egg mixture, then coat evenly with breadcrumbs.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken 4โ5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Preheat broiler. Place cooked chicken on a baking sheet.
- Top each piece with garlic, Parmesan cheese, and mozzarella.
- Broil for 2โ3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
