Description

This Magical 30-Minute Dorito Casserole is a cheesy, crunchy, kid-approved dinner that’s perfect for busy weeknights. Layers of seasoned beef, creamy cheddar sauce, and crispy Doritos come together in one irresistible bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 bag (9.75 oz) Doritos, crushed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and diced tomatoes with chilies. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the cheddar cheese soup and milk until smooth. Add to the beef mixture and combine.
  5. In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer half of the crushed Doritos, followed by the beef mixture, and then sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese.
  6. Repeat layers with remaining Doritos and cheese.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
