This Garlic Butter Steak with Parmesan Cream Sauce is a restaurant-quality dinner made at home. Juicy ribeye steaks are pan-seared in butter and garlic, then finished with a rich, creamy Parmesan sauce for an indulgent yet simple meal perfect for special occasions or weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- 4 ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter and allow it to melt.
- Add the steaks and sear for 3–4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Remove steaks and set aside.
- In the same skillet, lower heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
- Return steaks to the pan, spoon sauce over them, and cook for 1–2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
