Description

This Garlic Butter Steak with Parmesan Cream Sauce is a restaurant-quality dinner made at home. Juicy ribeye steaks are pan-seared in butter and garlic, then finished with a rich, creamy Parmesan sauce for an indulgent yet simple meal perfect for special occasions or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick, 8 oz each)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter and allow it to melt.
  3. Add the steaks and sear for 3–4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Remove steaks and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, lower heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
  7. Return steaks to the pan, spoon sauce over them, and cook for 1–2 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Let steaks rest for 5 minutes before serving for maximum juiciness.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest sauce.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or pasta.
