Ingredients
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 1/2 cups milk (or almond milk for dairy-free)
- 1 large apple, diced
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix oats, milk, eggs, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt until combined.
- Fold in diced apple and nuts (if using).
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
