Description

This comforting Oatmeal Apple Breakfast Bake is warm, wholesome, and naturally sweetened. Perfect for cozy mornings, it’s packed with oats, fresh apples, and cinnamon — a delicious and healthy start to your day.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1 1/2 cups milk (or almond milk for dairy-free)
  • 1 large apple, diced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, maple syrup (or honey), vanilla extract, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the oats and diced apple to the mixture, stirring until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle nuts on top if using.
  5. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or chilled!

Notes

  • Use any variety of apples you like — Honeycrisp or Fuji work great.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days and reheat before serving.
  • Drizzle with extra maple syrup or top with yogurt for added flavor.
