Ingredients
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 1/2 cups milk (or almond milk for dairy-free)
- 1 large apple, diced
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, maple syrup (or honey), vanilla extract, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the oats and diced apple to the mixture, stirring until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle nuts on top if using.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or chilled!
