Description

This One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles is the perfect comfort meal. Juicy chicken breasts paired with tender egg noodles tossed in garlic butter and Parmesan make for a quick, hearty, and satisfying dinner—all in one pan!

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Add egg noodles and cook until tender, about 7–8 minutes.
  5. Stir in butter and minced garlic, cooking for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Slice cooked chicken and return it to the skillet.
  7. Toss noodles with Parmesan (if using) and garnish with parsley. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Substitute chicken thighs for extra juiciness.
  • Use whole wheat or gluten-free noodles if preferred.
  • Add steamed vegetables for a balanced meal.
