Description

This One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles is the perfect comfort meal. Juicy chicken breasts paired with tender egg noodles tossed in garlic butter and Parmesan make for a quick, hearty, and satisfying dinnerโ€”all in one pan!

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5โ€“6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Add egg noodles and cook until tender, about 7โ€“8 minutes.
  5. Stir in butter and minced garlic, cooking for 1โ€“2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Slice cooked chicken and return it to the skillet.
  7. Toss noodles with Parmesan (if using) and garnish with parsley. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Substitute chicken thighs for extra juiciness.
  • Use whole wheat or gluten-free noodles if preferred.
  • Add steamed vegetables for a balanced meal.
