Description

One-Pot Cheeseburger Orzo Skillet is a quick and cheesy dinner that combines the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with tender orzo pasta, all in a single skillet for minimal cleanup.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup orzo
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • Pickles, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add ketchup, mustard, and beef broth to the skillet, stirring to combine.
  3. Stir in orzo, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer for 10–12 minutes until orzo is tender and most liquid is absorbed.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  5. Garnish with pickles and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use your favorite cheese blend for extra flavor.
  • Add diced onions or pickled jalapeños for a twist.
  • Leftovers store well in the fridge for 2–3 days.
