Description
One-Skillet Spicy Garlic Butter Parmesan Steak Pasta is a quick, flavorful dinner combining tender sliced steak, pasta cooked in savory beef broth, garlic, butter, and a spicy kick from red pepper flakes, finished with grated Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced thin
- 12 oz spaghetti or linguine
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt half the butter and sear the sliced steak until browned but not fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- Add remaining butter and minced garlic to the skillet; sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add pasta and beef broth to the skillet; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until pasta is tender and most of the broth is absorbed.
- Return steak to skillet, add red pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese; stir to combine and heat through.
- Serve immediately with extra Parmesan if desired.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor.
- Adjust red pepper flakes to control the spiciness.
- Use sirloin for lean meat or ribeye for richer flavor.
