Description

Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Creamy Garlic Sauce is a crispy, golden chicken dinner topped with a rich and velvety garlic Parmesan cream sauce. This easy family dinner is perfect for busy weeknights and pairs beautifully with pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.


Ingredients

  • 4 thin chicken cutlets
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan (for sauce)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish


Instructions

  1. Season chicken cutlets with salt and pepper.
  2. Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with ½ cup Parmesan.
  3. Dredge each cutlet in flour, dip in egg, then coat in breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute.
  6. Add chicken broth and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and ¼ cup Parmesan. Simmer until sauce thickens.
  8. Return chicken to skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Garnish and serve warm.
