Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup Bisquick or all-purpose baking mix
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- Optional: ketchup, mustard, pickles for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until beef is browned. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in salt and black pepper. Spread mixture evenly into a greased 9-inch pie dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the beef mixture.
- In a bowl, whisk together Bisquick, milk, and eggs until smooth.
- Pour batter evenly over the beef and cheese.
- Bake for 20โ25 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center.
- Let cool slightly before slicing. Serve with optional toppings if desired.
