Ingredients

  • 20 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • Salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/4 cups parmesan, shredded
  • Parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Cracked black pepper (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear steak to desired doneness. Remove and let rest, then slice thinly.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute.
  5. Add heavy cream, milk, and parmesan. Stir until sauce is smooth and creamy.
  6. Toss tortellini and sliced steak in the sauce.
  7. Garnish with parsley, red pepper flakes, and cracked black pepper. Serve warm.
